GMC Hires Family Nurse Practitioner

Glendive, Montana, August 20, 2014 - Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is pleased to announce that Sarah Sommerfeld, FNP-BC will join the medical staff at GMC and Prairie Community Hospital (PCH) in August. She will work primarily at PCH providing both clinic and hospital Emergency Department (ED) coverage. In addition, she will provide coverage in the ED at GMC. "The opportunity to be part of Eastern Montana's health and wellness team excites me. I look forward to being a member of this community," Sommerfeld said. 

Sommerfeld received her Master in Science of Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND in 2012. She most recently worked at Central Wellness in Billings, MT and with the Indian Health Service, Crow Agency, MT. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
