Glendive Medical Center Will Offer New Class On Understanding Insurance and Your GMC Statement.

Glendive, Montana, November 10, 2017 - Glendive Medical Center (GMC) will present a new class, "Decoding Your Bill - How to Understand Insurance and Your GMC Statement" each Thursday, excluding Thanksgiving, for the next four weeks starting November 16th and ending December 14th .
The class will take participants through the step-by-step process of insurance claims from initial visit to receiving their statement. The one hour class will be broken down into simple terms and will cover the entire journey of a medical claim including, the responsibilities and crucial timelines of each party involved. The class will offer time for participants to ask questions, however, due to HIPAA compliance regulations, personal statements cannot be discussed in a public setting. Finance department experts will be available to set up appointments for one-on-one visits should participants have further questions.
The classes will be held in the lower level of the hospital in Carney Conference Room 3 and light refreshments will be served. Class times will rotate over lunch and after 5pm to accommodate working schedules.

Thursday, November 16th - 5:30-6:30 pm
Thursday, November 30th - 12:00-1:00 pm
Thursday, December 7th - 12:00-1:00 pm
Thursday, December 14th - 5:30 -6:30 pm
