Glendive Medical Center Restructuring Home Health

Glendive, Montana, May 10, 2019 – Glendive Medical Center (GMC) announced today they will be restructuring the GMC Home Health program to a Visiting Nurse Service program that will be billed out of the Rural Health Clinic. On behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Glendive Medical Center Home at 202 Prospect Drive, Glendive, MT 59330 will no longer participate in the Health Insurance Benefits Program for the Aged and Disabled (Medicare) as Home Health Agency effective June 30, 2019.

“We are prepared to help our patients ease into this transition and answer any questions they may have regarding their care”, stated Wendy Mintz, RN. A letter will be sent to individuals who receive care through this program within the next week detailing the changes. Patients are encouraged to call Home Health with questions at (406) 345-3395.
