HIM Staff Earns New Credentials

Lynn Ann Haslid, Carol Stedman, Cassandra Robison, and Jolyn Ler, Health Information Management employees at Glendive Medical Center, recently completed an apprenticeship program through American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). The class took a year and a half to complete and also required a national exam. Through the coursework, they now have an increased understanding of coding and government rules. Lynn Ann is now a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP); Carol, Cassandra, and Jolyn are now Certified Coding Associates (CCA).
