Public COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Scheduled at Glendive Medical Center

Unified Health Command of Dawson County which includes Dawson County Health Department (DCHD) and Glendive Medical Center (GMC) announced today they will hold a mass vaccine clinic for the public from 8:30am-4:00pm on Friday, August 20th at GMC in the Carney Center.
“Due to the increase of COVID-19 positive cases in our county and the upcoming colder months, we felt it was important to offer another mass vaccine clinic for individuals to protect themselves from serious complications of the virus, especially with the variants now presenting in our county,” stated Jill Domek, Vice President of Clinical Services at Glendive Medical Center.
The Moderna vaccine will be administered during this clinic with the second dose scheduled for Friday, September 17th at the same time and place. Anyone wishing to receive their vaccine will need to call Glendive Medical Center to make an appointment at 406-345-8901. The Moderna vaccine works to prevent serious illness and hospitalization from Covid-19.
