Hospice Tree of Lights

The Glendive Medical Center Foundation invites the community to its Annual Hospice Tree of Lights Ceremony on Thursday, December 5th, at 4:30 PM in the Carney Conference Center. This heartfelt event offers a meaningful opportunity for individuals who have experienced loss to gather in a shared moment of remembrance and healing. Following the program, a tree lighting ceremony will take place in the main lobby of Glendive Medical Center.

The event will begin with a warm gathering featuring chili, cinnamon rolls, coffee, and lemonade, followed by a heartfelt program led by the Glendive Medical Center Hospice Team. The program will also feature a performance by the DCHS Chamber Choir. This event is open to the public at no cost.

To ensure adequate preparations, attendees are kindly asked to RSVP by November 22, 2024. The Tree of Lights ceremony is a meaningful opportunity to honor loved ones who have passed away and to connect with the hospice team to learn more about the support available during the holiday season.

The Annual Tree of Lights ceremony serves as an important fundraiser supporting Glendive Medical Center Hospice. Proceeds from the purchase of angel ornaments and candles, which beautifully adorn the main lobby tree during the lighting ceremony, directly benefit the hospice program. Individuals who wish to honor a loved one can add a candle to the Tree of Lights for $10 per name, or place an angel ornament for $25 per name. All funds raised from the event will be used to provide essential items for hospice patients, such as air purifiers, grief support books, and air mattresses, ensuring the highest level of comfort and care.
