Supporting Glendive Medical Center: Annual and Endowment Funds
The GMC Foundation offers two impactful ways to support our hospital and its programs: the Annual Fund and the Endowment Fund. These funds ensure that both immediate needs and long-term goals are met, benefiting our hospital as a whole and specific programs like Hospice.
Annual Fund
Gifts to the Foundation’s Annual Fund address the immediate needs of Glendive Medical Center. Unless donors specify otherwise, these contributions (both principal and interest) are directed by the GMC Administrative Council and the Foundation Board of Directors to fund critical, current capital requests from across the Medical Center.
Recent Annual Fund contributions have provided:
- Pulmonary Function Stress Testing Machine
- Outpatient Registration Remodel
- New Exam tables for the exam rooms at Gabert Clinic
- Patient care beds for Acute Care
- C-ARM Xray for the Surgery Department
- New Cardiac Rehab/Outpatient Therapy Room with new equipment

Endowment Fund
The Foundation’s Endowment Fund focuses on ensuring a sustainable future for Glendive Medical Center. Our vision is to use the fund’s interest income to purchase essential equipment annually, maintaining cutting-edge technology and comfortable, safe furnishings for our patients.
- How It Works: The principal of all Endowment Fund gifts is invested and preserved in perpetuity, ensuring the fund's longevity. Only the earned interest is used to support the Medical Center’s ongoing needs.
- Our Dream: To create a self-sustaining source of funding that keeps our hospital equipped to provide the highest standard of care for generations to come.
