Scholarships

Glendive Medical Center (GMC) Foundation offers numerous scholarships with awards being announced each year in June.

The Sobotka Scholarship

August and Mary Sobotka made a wonderful planned gift to Glendive Medical Center by giving the proceeds from the sale of their ranch to the hospital. The Sobotka Endowment was created with their gift, and annually it provides a $5,000 scholarship for a student who is pursuing a career in health care.

The MJB Nursing scholarship is also given each spring. The award is $1,000 and is intended for a registered nursing student or a student pursuing a degree in a medical profession.

Barbara Markham Scholarship

The Barbara Markham Accounting / Business scholarship is also given each spring. The award is $1,000 and is intended for a student pursuing a degree in accounting or business.
